This dog is a 6 month old male pup. Born January 6. Light Leopard with double Glass eyes like my Rebar dog(RIP)daddy. Rebar was a hard hunting 3/4 rednose with 1/4 catahoula from a line in Christmas from Jimmy Hester and a grand sire named Bayou(RIP). He still owns Camper, Rebar's Father. Mama dog is Alley my Lead Strike Dog registered catahoula. Heavy Pumpkin Hill's bred and Lee. Grandsire is Fable, Some Champion of champions catahoula. Whatever!! Both parents were finished. Alley will wind off any vehicle, walk hunt, buggy hunt, airboat whatever. I would put her up against most dogs and sh'ell hold her own. This was a planned breeding to get some faster dogs that would put the brakes on some hogs. Daddy was my favorite dog I've ever owned. You couldn't drop the tailgate fast enough and he loaded up. Alley is your typical hard hunting dog you can't let go at the house but will listen good in the woods. You don't see her til you get to the hog. The reason I am parting with this male is because he may possibly have visual problems in the future. I kept 2 other males from the litter. The other 9 pups were sold or friends are raising them. This pup just happens to be the dog I have the least confidence in at this point. I have not started training them. None of these pups have any experience around hogs except the ones we bring home.
