Walked out my garage headed to the back yard to hit the woods dogs stood up and were gone heard the squeel in 5 min caught in a palm head  |

Kissimmee river is a management area, it hasn't been open year round for 4 or 5 years. I used to hunt it a bunch, been living up here in north fl. and am coming down south for a month or so. This years FWC hunting guide listed it as open year round with a management stamp. |

This years FWC hunting guide listed it as open year round with a management stamp. whats the website for that? i live in okeechobee and havnt heard anything about that. my dad also works for sfwmd ,thats who owns the property |

kissimmie river is only open to hunt durning hunting season in December although all the lakes around it are huntable year round with dogs but some places you can only go so far before there are no hunting signs.. your best bet is to go to lake hatchineha lake cypress or or the other lakes around becouse you can hunt a good majorty of mthat but youll need an airboat
