www.news-press.com/article/20130519/NEWS01/305190042/Hunters-cry-foul-over-proposed-Lee-County-laws-housing-caninesSeen this on the TEXAS board of all places. This beep makes me Worry and ANGRY. contacted the people with the Central Florida Dog Hunters and Sportsman Association. They have been around for 40 years. I have never heard of them. 600 members and counting. Anyway just like I feel all gun owners should be in the NRA I think all dog hunters should join state groups like this. I plan on joining. 15 a year for single membership and25 a year for family. They said I could go to their website and print out a application. www.CFDHSA.com. Their membership list is private. They hold BBQ'S and events thru the year. Anyway I just was impressed that they showed up in Lee county and are fighting for us. Also they have a Face Book page. Alone we are helpless against government telling us what we can and can't do, As a group like this we can have a voice and can be strong. This could be your county next or at a state level just like what they did to the Fox hunters.

I seen this too. Most of the hunting clubs from N. Central fl on up to north florida have to register with FWC as dog hunting clubs and are issued dog property I.D's. Also like Ryan mentioned we are registered with N. Central Florida dog hunters association with part of our dues. They are located in inglis, levy county. Cost $10.00 per year. Very good to be a member of any of these associations as they do fight for us on legal issues prop to the general public even hearing about the new laws going into effect.
