newcomer here...i am the recording sec for the Central Fl Dog
Hunters and Sportsmen's Assoc...(we're on fb). we support all sports and would like to invite you to our 39th annual sportsman's bbq, aug 25, 10am-5pm/ at the lake co fairgrounds in eustis, (you can see our flyer on our fb page). bounce house and water slides for kids... sliced pork or chicken lunch with baked beans & green beans/tea for $6.00. lots of fellowship, and vendors of all kinds...aparrel, dog collars, dog boxes, and for you hog hunters, Backwoods Catahoula Kennels, from Louisiana, is coming with their line of hog hunting equipment.
Now, if you know any one who would like to set up a booth and sell, (you must have a tax id) the booth prices are $25.00 for a 10x10 area. We also are accepting donations for member drawings. please contact nicky bush at 863-804-5757 or myself, vickie bryant, at 352-267-8382.
Our big drawing ticket includes a shotgun, black powder rifle, diamond plate dog box, head mount, pistol, and 2- $100.00 cash prizes, tickets are $1.00 each or 6/$5.00.(do not have to be present to win). Members get in free, (and will be issued a membership drawing ticket, for other cool prizes). non members-$5.00 admission.

i know we had over 500 people, i was so busy selling our shirts, etc...anyway...it was closer to 1,000 can't remember what the head count was. we have close to 700 members statewide. last year we collected canned goods for local food bank...(wasn't as good as we'd liked, but we did get some). we moved from doe lake recreation area in the ocala forest to the fairgrounds 3 years ago, trying to get the public more involved in and get more knowledge about us, (hunters, etc.) out...we're still working on that. i'll see about getting a link or something on our website...(our webmaster is slow getting us updated). www.cfldoghunters.org we have a close relationship with the fwc and us forestry...(in fact, they will be at our event). if anything comes up that concerns hunting, they usually let us know and get our input. membership fee is $15/ for single and $25. for family. you get bumper sticker and member sticker for window, and with family you get a can coozie. free entry into our bbq, with 1 ticket to single and 2 to family for drawings for some great prizes...i know we have 2 european mounts donated...2 diamond plate 10 gall. water tanks for dog box...and more,( have to be present for these). i'd like to contact southern life aparrel, are they on fb or do you have a contact no.? or you can give them our info...thanks |

:)wow, checked out southern lifeaparrel...some cool stuff/shirts, etc. sent them a message inviting them to our bbq...hope they can make it... our membership is : single - $15.,(you get bumper sticker and membership sticker); family - $25., and with that, you get the stickers, and a can coozie. also, with both, you get free admission to our events, and a free ticket on 'members only' drawings, (you do have to be present to win prizes). there is a membership application on our website: www.cfldoghunters.org (the membership fees are wrong, but still a printable and useable app...) has mailing address,etc..listed. (we're having a bit of trouble getting our "webmaster", he's a busy man, with us on updating our site, please excuse...) |

6 days to go until our shot day...$10. for rabies and (10 in 1) booster...that's a good price..aug. 18th lake co fairgrounds, under the shade trees in the parking lot...9-12.
13 days to go... getting excited!!! aug. 25th lake co fairgrounds, 10-5. i'll be at cfdhsa aparrel booth...come see me....
