I have a redbone female that will trail bay and catch but I am looking for pointers on training puppies that I have they are 8 months old

put them on hogs every chance and you get and in the woods and you will find out if they make the cut... just like a cur dog they dont learn if there in the pen

That's the fruth flhog, you make the dog put collar on um shock um when they get open on track when u do mock hunts praise um when there on it but when they open zap um short and sweet make a silent hound and train um like a cur I may be wrong but that's just my 2cents

I got 7 head of walker dogs i run deer with. Most hounds open on track. If you get one that is dead silent that has a good nose and hunts, you might have you a fine dog. But if there open on track you best have a big piece of land or youll be crossin fence lines.
