Finally got a chance to load up and go hunt my new buddy jason came down and he went out saw some sign but came up mt handed lot of young dogs out but workin like they should , ended up trackin thru a lot of water this rain is killer my spot use to hold a lot more hogs but with the water levals pushin um out and an adjoing neighbor shooting a lot. We just came up short . my lead dog was down with mestitis had to switch her meds so that was a shot in the foot was really hoping to run her and end a dry spell , she be good in couple weeks tho and hopin to go run !if anyone wouldn't mind ill make a drive to central fl area or out around lakeland avon park ( gotta place to stay over that way ) and wouldn't mind my joining up let me know ill bring my 2 lead dogs and leave the pups behind jason is a great guy to sorry we came up short bub , but he a very respectful guy maybee if someone has an offer we could all met up for a hunt , happy huntin boys

Yeah that water has sure enough ruined a few spots. Its gonna be awhile before the dry up.

Yeah boar hog the water is crazy ain't really caught a break since fay came threw , flooded a lot out but started to dry up jan feb then all this damn rain on the saturated ground its bbuilt and built its awful , and jason we will hunt again soon man jed wants me to come over his way so next couple weeks maybee we head over there knock some hogs out countin on my gyp she's a fine dog and was a little upset to hunt without her that's why I ain't been out huntin in few months with the pups n all, been spendin the time with out her doin mock hunts with my pups

That is just hog hunting. Nobody catches hogs everytime.. But even a bad day in the woods beats the hell out of a good day at work.. You will get them next time and this water has to start to go away and the weather is gettting cooler so good times to come.
