I'm only guessing but is no one hunting due to deer season or what ain't even nothing new on deer link getting pretty boring around here ! We should erect a trophy and everyone on this forum make a open hog season tourny no cash just braggin rights and pass the trophy after every tourny on to the next winner keep us central fl boys on our toes lol just a thought

Like a quarterly perpetual trophy? $10 entrie fee the first go round to cover purchasing a nice perpetual, and any other fees to cover data entry, and winner has to pass a polygraph test? All hogs have to be taken with the use of dogs?

However we see fit make a poll of rules vote and no money just one weigh in weekend hunt must be member of this forum type deal spread the word get new members beef up the member count here , hell the trphy could just be a hog skull nailed to a piece of wood that says tourny winner in sharpie lol we should get everyones input here ,start a topic and see how it goes make a vote and start the prep work . Make it like a friendly comp amongst friends for braggin rights or whatever

Bored here too buddy. Got Hampton unit coming up in December and Toso in Feb. We get more time than Deer hunters so we are lucky. This weather does make it hard to sit home and my dogs are Pissed! lol.

I hear ya mag jason got 1st toso hunt in jan were gonna go scope a route off 520 in next couple weeks see how things look , then dog days jan 16-20 then possibly entering tourney in feb southeaster boar bustin bein held by abs hog dogs and hog wire so hopefully it heats up the forum

Most people scared of Gators and don't go back that far. The oil line is good also. Alot of the hogs get pushed that way after the first day. Been a few years since i have been, but i had hunted that place for close to 8 years total and it always worked for me. Just leave me some for the second week. lol. |

I did not know you could hunt it the rest of the season. I have the 2nd hunt in Feb. Already have my helper and guest filled. Sorry. If something changes i will send you a PM. You never know. |

Wild hog-dog season:
January 11-13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and February 8-10, 11, 12, 13, 14.
Permit, Stamp and License Requirements - Quota permit (January 11-13 and February 8-10) or daily quota permit, hunting license and management area permit.
Legal to Hunt -Wild hog.
Regulations Unique to Wild Hog-dog Season - In addition to these regulations, all General Area Regulations shall apply.
1.During January 11-13 and February 8-10, each wild hog-dog quota permit allows a hunting group of 2 persons and a guest (3 total) to participate in the hunt. On all other dates of the wild hog-dog season, each wild hog-dog daily quota permit allows a hunting group of 2 persons to participate in the hunt.
2.Hunting with more than 3 free-running dogs per hunting group is prohibited
