A friend of mine that has been in the hog dogs for about 5 years called me a few months ago and told me he wanted to do a breeding out of his best two dogs but that he was busy. Would I be interested in whelping the litter and raising the pups when they are born. Well long story short I had hunted with the parents and knew they were good dogs so i said yes. She is huge due to have pups December 10th. He gets first pick I get second pick and so on. What do you all prefer male or females? I was thinking about picking as many females as I could and maybe one male? The dame is pure catahoula pred to a 1/4 Catahoula 1/4 Pit 1/2 Plott. So will be something like 3/4 catahoula 1/5th Pit 1/8 Plott.

I like females better smarter and listen better. Just sucks when they come into heat.
