Yeah man they are figuring each other out and really starting to work as a unit. I have a nice little Cat/BMC that I think is half plott that is silent that ranges out deep and goes to the bay, helps catch, real gritty, that I am really looking forward to seeing how she matures. For now though my little Snickers usually strikes first and is like a stratrgic missile, she barks out of frustration when a hog breaks sometimes but until I have something better she will have to do. Booray Hank and Baylee have enough bottom to keep up with and run most of them down.

Really good story and hog. From what your saying i would not even think about getting rid of Snickers. JMO.

Hey Magnum thanks. Yeah she has her purpose she beats the bushes and constantly outstrikes the other dogs but she yips when a hog breaks and barks on ones beep, doesnt bother me to much but I hear its allot easier to catch hogs with silent dogs so that's what I have been trying to lean toward. I love her style she beats the bushes non stop. At Boarhog1 I hear ya man...

Big difference between one that barks when it hits the ground before it sees a hog and one that yips after it first finds it and it breaks. I have always owned and loved silent rough curs but i would not get rid of a dog for doing what yours is when it finds most of the pigs. JMO.

Yeah she doesn't keep yipping, but man does she throw a fit. Then goes right back to trying to find him.
