I give 1cc of ivomec once a month. Liquid safe guard and Pyrantel Pamoate(same as nemex). Rotate them every month. 5cc per 10 pound body weight.

About the same as ya'll unless I have a pregnant gyp. Then I stop the ivermec , Worm her a week before delivery with Strongid and safeguard, Different days and then worm her again 2 days after delivery. Eating all the sacks and cleaning them has to cause worms and it darn sure does not hurt. Pups get Nemex2 starting at 2 weeks every week until 8 weeks and then I skip every other week until 16 weeks. Other dogs get Ivermec once a month at 1 cc if they are over 60 lbs. Found that keeps them from getting any worms. Other wise dose it per 10 lbs. of body weight. Done this for many years. Also for puppies I put a couple tea spoons of sulmet or Corid per gallon of water to prevent cociddia. A fiend passed that on to me who has been hunting dogs and raising them for over 40 years. Cheap preventive on something that can happen so easy. Glad to see people like minded. Another thing with pups I start 7 way shots at 5 weeks and give 4 total. Booster once a year, Love Jeffers pet supply. If no one has used them go online and have a Pet and live stock book mailed to you, it can save you a Bunch. I only use 7 way shots, Not 5 way. My old vet told me to do that, cost a little more but worth it if your going to have puppies.
