Nice job. Sorry about the dog. I lost one I raised from a puppy to a gator back in the 90's. Still pissed when I think about it. Nothing you can do.

That really sucks about the gator getting your dog!! Do you run all catahoulas? If so how many? I have 2 I am trying to train for hogs.

yeah i run all catahoulas. i ran 3 for about 8 years until i lost one to a gator and my oldest got retired do to a blown out knee. I am now down to one finished cat 8 yrs old and 3 pups all around a year old. Tough basically starting all over again and frustrating at the same time. These catahoulas dont mature and really turn on to well until theyre atleast 2 yrs old.

yeah all mine are silent even the ones im just getting started. If you hear a bark its usually a good one.

These are three different boar hogs pretty good size we have caught since i got the new property to hunt. Unfortunately the leopard in the last pic got eaten by a gator a few weeks ago and that was one of the last hogs he caught. He was my favorite, was finished about 8yrs old. That night we ended up with five hogs but one less dog.
